Sanur Village Festival

Sanur village festival,20 - 24th August.

A spiritual music,traditional dance mixed with delicious food made our day at Sanur.

Kids are always in main notice point.

Shopping girls!

I don't remember where but i read this story before and i can feel it right now when my girlfriend pushes me to go shopping :

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner.

I took out my wallet, got out ten dollars and asked, 'If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it instead of dinner?'

'No, I had to stop drinking years ago' , the homeless woman told me.

'Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food?' I asked.

'No, I don't waste time shopping,' the homeless woman said. 'I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive.'

'Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food?' I asked.

'Are you NUTS!' replied the homeless woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years!'

'Well, I said, 'I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight.'

The homeless Woman was shocked. 'Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell pretty disgusting.'

I said, 'That's okay. It's important for him to see what a woman looks like after she has given up shopping, hair appointments, and wine.' 

Burned chicken!

I’ve been frying a chicken leg for 15 minutes but it still needed more times to be red as I wished,so I said ok it seems to take longer time I can go to pee for  a minute,and when I was back I found a black burned chicken piece in pan!!

This is the life.Sometimes you just leave or ignore something or someone for a minute and would lose it forever.You know,the worst  part is when you don’t realize that you don’t know you are doing it and you keep doing it!

Stop! Think then act.maybe this formula answers!

Janus-faced

 I just got this tonight when i looked for "Janus-faced" word ,then i got two-faced, i was wondering where it comes from!

Ok i'm gonna share what i got through my search and by a look through Merriam-Webster:

In Roman religion , Janus was the deity who presided over doors,gates,archways,and all beginnings, structural and temporal (the month of January is named for him).He is represented as having a single head with two faces looking in opposite directions.The shrine of Janus in the Roman Forum was a rectangular bronze structure with double doors at each end.Traditionally, the doors were left open in times of war and kept closed in times of peace.That open/closed dichotomy, along with the deity's two-faced head,confres duplicity and contrariness to the word "Janus," evinced in the meaning of the term "Janus-faced."

You know what made me begin looking for this word? i was wondering if i can use it for calling people with ,as i see these days those who deserve it.
